Wife imitates art
Mommy and Daddy took Dash on his first picnic yesterday, to Council Crest Park (the highest spot in Portland, which isn't really saying much). After slathering the boy with enough sunscreen to keep him protected well into his teens, Mommy attempted (and succeeded!) to fling Dash around without him slipping away like a greased piglet.

Hope he had some sunscreen on his back - or was that what made his shirt slip up? Never mind, it looks like they were both having a great time!

Nah, it was actually just applied to his head and face, although it wouldn't surprise me if it trickled down to the rest of his body.
The look of glee on his face is precious. He probably was wondering "what was she doing to me, all greased up like that and up in the air?"

Oh, he LOVES flying. I do it with him constantly. (It's just hard for me to get pictures of that.)
